Position Overview: As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating mill and lathe machines to produce high-quality valve and regulator components. This role requires the ability to read technical blueprints, operate both manual and CNC machinery, and conduct quality inspections using various measuring tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines with 2-3+ years of experience (including brands such as Tornos, Mori-Seiki, and Mazak).
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments like Go/No-go gauges, calipers, and micrometers for quality assurance.
  • Load materials into bar feeders as required.
  • Ensure proper coolant flow and maintenance of machinery.
  • Implement safe manual deburring techniques.
  • Understand and apply tool layouts effectively.
  • Engage in problem-solving and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; machining or trade school education preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with basic mathematics and measuring tools is essential.
  • Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and accountability in previous roles.
  • Willingness to learn new machinery and production techniques.
  • Must be a collaborative team player, adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform repetitive tasks safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and sensory acuity.

Work Arrangement: Onsite
