Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with programmatic or behavioral health staff
  • Assess health status, identify problems, and needs of individuals served
  • Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and DSPs related to health services activities
  • Participate in admission decisions and ensure company admission criteria are met
  • Conduct assessments and reassessments of individuals served
  • Develop and update care plans, determine individual needs, and secure physician orders as needed
  • Coordinate communication between team members, attending physicians, and direct caregivers
  • Ensure compliance with state/local/payer requirements through review of documentation and attendance at IDT and care coordination activities
  • Provide supervision and evaluate the performance of LPN/LVN and direct care/service staff
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and maintain ongoing clinical knowledge through internal/external training programs
Requirements
  • Must have at least one year of nursing experience, including 6 months in a supervisory role
  • Clinical experience in providing services and supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or related disorders preferred
  • Degree/certification from an accredited school of nursing
  • Must maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice, which is current and remains in good standing
