About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Oak Hill Senior Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care and health needs to residents, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Conduct professional assessments and document resident health information.
  • Supervise and perform care assignments, routine skills, and procedures to ensure quality care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans, maintaining up-to-date nursing care plans and documenting progress.
  • Make daily and periodic visits to observe for symptoms, reactions to medication, and treatment.
  • Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, weights, diet supplements, and replacements.
  • Assist with the orientation and ongoing training of staff to ensure required skill levels are maintained.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid LPN license in good standing.
  • Thorough understanding of safe and effective nursing practices within the state of Florida.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of programs such as Excel and Word.
  • Personal integrity and ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and personnel.
  • Passion for caring for people.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance and HIPAA guidelines.
