Job Summary

This position is a critical part of the State of New Mexico's efforts to support the well-being of children and families in our state. As a Client Service Representative, you will play a key role in providing support services to clients, including staying with children/youth in the Receiving Center, home visits, arranging appointments and transportation, and entering data/notes into the CYFD System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support services to clients, including staying with children/youth in the Receiving Center and home visits.
  • Arrange appointments and transportation for clients as needed.
  • Enter data/notes into the CYFD System to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Provide assistance to protective services workers and work on special client-related projects.
  • Direct client interaction and some travel may be required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency and three (3) months of experience as a home care worker, management of a home, or experience in providing social or rehabilitative services to clients in the community and/or in an institution.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive phone and personal computer usage.

Direct client interaction and some travel may be required.

Work schedules may differ than the standard - 5 Monday through Friday.

Some overtime may also be required on occasion.
