Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Department Coordinator to join our Retail team at Marshalls. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized store, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure Associates are processing efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles.
  • Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor.
  • Monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary.
  • Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities.
Requirements
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player with ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

This position has a starting pay range of $ to $ per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
