Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality services to clients in Plainfield, IL. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid state license or eligibility for licensure in Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities and limitations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address clients' occupational therapy needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients to improve motor skills, sensory processing, self-care skills, and other areas of occupation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support clients' educational and developmental goals
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made by clients

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program
  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in Illinois
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
  • IEP experience preferred but not required
