Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care for patients in our pediatric intensive care unit. Responsibilities
This role requires the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple interventions in a dynamic environment, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, adhering to hospital policies, industry standards, and applicable laws and regulations. In addition, you will be expected to participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in pediatric intensive care.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where care is provided. You will also need to maintain certification in Basic Life Support and PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Previous experience in pediatric intensive care or a related field is highly desirable. A strong foundation in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, is also essential for success in this role.
