We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab to join our team at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare delivery team, you will provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality healthcare.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Conduct patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Attainment of CRRN or willingness to obtain within 2 years of employment.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Knowledge of body substance isolation and infection control practices.
- Experience with the FIM instrument and other rehabilitation assessment tools.
