Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary health care to a specific patient population, adhering to established protocols and nursing standards.
  • Engage in diagnosis and treatment of diseases, defects, or injuries, recommending or prescribing treatments as needed.
  • Perform charting, summaries, and correspondence to document care and billing.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs, utilization management, and patient education services.
  • Assist in operational assessments to enhance revenue, reduce expenses, and improve billing opportunities.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner emphasis or equivalent program certificate.
  • South Carolina Official Recognition Nurse Practitioner - NLNP certification.
  • Prescriptive Authority South Carolina Nursing License and South Carolina Controlled Substance license.
  • Federal DEA license.
