Job Description Summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Staff Structures Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. As a key member of the LEAP Combustor and Turbine Center Frame Engineering Design Team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and evaluating structures design projects for the LEAP engine. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that will shape the future of aviation.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and provide guidance on the design, analysis, and evaluation of structures design projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and LEAP product / program requirements.
Document and prepare technical data and results for technical program reviews, internal and external customers, design record books, and agency certification documentation.
Collaborate with GE Technical Experts and support organizations to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
At least 5 years of experience in an engineering position.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in structural mechanical design and proficiency in GD&T and stack ups.
Experience in the design, testing, and certification of structural engine components.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization and provide guidance to engineers with less experience.
