Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at United Rentals. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks and minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on rental equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Conduct minor repairs on equipment and tools, including checking oil, grease, and fluids.
  • Report machine condition to management and provide recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
  • Demonstrate equipment to customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Basic knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools applicable to the position.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
