We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Spinal Cord Injury or Traumatic Brain Injury or Intensive Care Unit team. As an Inpatient Registered Nurse, you will provide basic care to patients, performing all job functions in an ethical manner and ensuring patient safety, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities- Provide basic care to patients, including assessing patient and family needs and coordinating appropriate nursing plan of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
- Graduate of a nursing program from an accredited college or university.
- Active Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- Minimum one (1) year RN experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Ability to assess patient and family needs and coordinate appropriate nursing plan of care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience with patients with Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, and/or behavioral health.
- ACLS and appropriate specialty certification required after appropriate time frame.
This position requires working in a normal patient care environment, with some potential for exposure to blood and body fluids, as well as infectious viruses.
