CNC Programmer II Job Overview

As a CNC Programmer II, you'll play a critical role in our manufacturing process, utilizing advanced CNC machine tools to produce high-quality products. Key Responsibilities

  • Program and operate CNC equipment to produce complex geometry components in metal, plastic, wood, and composites.
  • Develop and maintain macros to ensure ease of operation and optimize machining processes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and R&D to test products and support design capability.
  • Continuously improve machining processes and provide training and support for operators.
  • Ensure part quality and inspection, and interact with design engineers and designers on part functionality.
  • Maintain an inventory of consumable supplies and ensure proper maintenance of all equipment.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; 2-year Associates degree in machining or similar Technology related degree; 5+ years of experience in prototyping environment with advanced CNC machine tools.
  • Experience with CNC controls and operating programs required.
  • Working knowledge of CNC tooling, tools, and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD required.
  • Self-motivation, dependability, and trustworthiness essential.
  • Proficient organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking abilities required.
