Role Overview

As part of our App Security team, you will contribute to Prisma Access, which delivers secure cloud access. This role involves leveraging advanced public and private cloud technologies to extend next-generation security to all cloud services, on-premise networks, and mobile users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement highly scalable software features.
  • Engage in architecture, design, and development of App Security functionalities.
  • Research and apply various frameworks suitable for solutions.
  • Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to ensure optimal quality.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to development processes.
  • Work alongside DevOps and Technical Support teams to resolve customer issues.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 8 years in system software development.
  • Experience in developing REST APIs using Golang.
  • Proficiency in software development with web servers.
  • Understanding of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience in building scalable systems.
  • A solid grasp of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and multiprocessing.
  • Able to troubleshoot system-level integration and performance challenges.
  • A fast learner, eager to embrace new technologies.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and quality execution.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional skills that would be advantageous include:

  • Experience with UI development using React and Sparky framework.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
  • Experience with BigQuery.

Compensation

The compensation for this position will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates receiving an offer, the expected starting base salary ranges from $170,000 to $225,000 annually, with potential for restricted stock units and bonuses.
