Summit Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a pediatric setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness in patients' communication and swallowing skills.
- Design and implement treatment programs to improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
- Monitor and record patients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Louisiana.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
