Our facility is committed to delivering a full spectrum of urologic care, ensuring that patients receive top-notch services from experienced professionals, cutting-edge diagnostic tools, and advanced treatment options.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute essential functions within the primary work environment while demonstrating proficiency in various areas, including IV and contrast administration, orthopedic imaging, pediatric imaging, operating room radiology, trauma imaging, gastrointestinal imaging, and both outpatient and inpatient diagnostic radiology.

2. Conduct a range of technical tasks necessary for operating x-ray machinery to capture images of specified body parts as directed by physicians; adjust settings for optimal exposure, voltage, and current in line with established radiation safety protocols.

3. Prepare and organize medical supplies, instruments, and equipment; clearly explain x-ray procedures to patients; position patients accurately for each required anatomical view using necessary immobilization and protective devices; report any changes in patient conditions to the attending medical staff.

4. Oversee auxiliary equipment and assist the attending physician during fluoroscopic examinations and specialized radiographic studies.

5. Document the type and quantity of film exposed; label films with appropriate identification; sort as necessary.

6. Collaborate with the lead x-ray technologist and radiologist to ensure adherence to established quality standards.

7. Process radiographic films according to standardized protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Compensation: $32-$39 per hour

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.

- Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of prior management experience.

- Must be AART Registered and possess current CPR certification.

- Familiarity with local, state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations is essential.

- Independent decision-making skills are required.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.

- Strong communication skills are necessary for interaction with staff, physicians, patients, and their families.

- Proficiency in both verbal and non-verbal communication in a professional context is required.
