Music Ministry Leader

The Director of Music and Worship is responsible for creating a culture of worship at Salem Church of God. This role involves leading worship services, coordinating musicians, and maintaining musical excellence at the church. The Director will also assist the Worship Pastor in implementing day-to-day service elements for weekend services, worship nights, and special services.

• Plan and execute weekly worship services, special events, and holiday services.
• Lead rehearsals and ensure all musical elements are prepared and executed with excellence.
• Provide musical leadership for instrumentalists and musicians at Salem Church of God.
• Lead the congregation in worship, creating an atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth and connection.
• Integrate prayer and Scripture into worship planning and execution.

• Recruit, train, and develop growing leaders and teams who take ownership of their responsibilities.
• Ensure organized and timely volunteer scheduling.
• Help develop and manage the annual Worship department budget in collaboration with the Worship Pastor.

• Experience in live music performance and worship settings, with leadership experience in executing weekend services.
• Strong understanding of music theory and proficiency in playing piano and guitar.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Ableton Live, Multitracks, Propresenter, and similar software.
• Experience with instrument tone, equipment, and effects.
