We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A driver with a HAZMAT endorsement to join our team at Daniels Health. As a medical waste collector driver, you will be responsible for safely collecting, delivering, and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers
  • Operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to DOT regulations and company policies
  • Complete deliveries on time and communicate effectively with customers and management
  • Load and unload medical waste containers, prioritizing and organizing your truck according to schedule and needs
  • Manage your route effectively, delivering timely, efficient, and effective service
  • Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and participating in roadside inspections
  • Perform heavy lifting and other physical demands of the job
Requirements
  • Class A license with a clean driving record and valid medical card
  • Willingness to work full-time hours, approximately 40 hours per week
  • Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
  • Six months of driving experience with tractor trailers and/or straight trucks
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
  • Experience operating vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections
  • Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
  • Proven longevity in past employment
  • On-time delivery practices
