We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Criminal Justice courses at Baton Rouge Community College.

This is a part-time position, and the ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field, with 18 graduate semester hours in Criminal Justice.

Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree in any field and 15 years of practical work experience in law enforcement, courts, or corrections may also be considered. A Juris Doctorate with 5 years of experience in criminal law is also acceptable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses as assigned, supporting the institution's mission and vision, and abiding by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. They will also be expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline.

Estimated Salary: $833.33 per credit course taught, with estimated annual salary ranging from $20,000 - $40,000. Benefits for unclassified employees are determined by the individual hiring authority.
