Production Supervisor

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the Liquid Department at Michael Foods Inc. in Klingerstown, Pennsylvania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing work schedules, conducting employee training, and maintaining communication across departments. Key responsibilities include ensuring proper start-up and shutdown procedures, performing quality checks, and resolving employee problems or grievances.

• Direct the activities of Liquid Department employees engaged in the manufacture of liquid egg products.
• Develop work schedules and assignments to meet production goals.
• Coordinate on-the-job training activities for new hires and transferred employees.
• Provide relief to other liquid Lead Persons and the Processing Supervisor.

To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in food processing and production. You should possess excellent time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple issues concurrently. Additionally, you should have good mechanical skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate specific equipment or tools.

A degree in a related field is preferred, as well as experience in team leadership, communication, and problem-solving. You should also have superior crisis management skills, excellent employee relations skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
