Status: Full-Time / Direct Hire
Compensation: Hourly Rate
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient intake, including measuring and documenting vital signs, conducting interviews, and gathering medical histories; carry out examinations and routine screenings while ensuring that patients are well-informed and their inquiries are addressed.
- Actively listen and communicate with patients during appointments, ensuring that any changes in their conditions are reported to primary care providers, specialists, or other healthcare personnel.
- Execute all responsibilities with a strong emphasis on enhancing the patient experience, including managing patient communications effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Medical Assistant role is necessary.
- A minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
- Completion of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent healthcare vocational training is required.
- BLS certification for Healthcare Providers is mandatory.
- Experience with EClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical records systems is beneficial.
- Experience working with elderly patients is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.00. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and additional voluntary benefits. Our associates can also access an Employee Assistance Program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan. We provide flexibility for employees to select coverage that meets their individual needs. Additionally, associates may qualify for paid leave, including Paid Sick Leave and other paid leave as mandated by Federal, State, or local laws, along with applicable holiday pay.
