We are seeking a skilled Renal Specialist to join our team at HealthAlliance Hospital, part of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network. As a Nephrologist, you will be part of a thriving multiple physician Nephrology group in the Hudson Valley, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our department.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient general nephrology services, including patient evaluations and treatment plans
- Participate in outpatient dialysis unit rounds, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices
- Offer inpatient consultation services at HealthAlliance Hospital, collaborating with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and expand the home dialysis program, improving patient outcomes and quality of life
- Assume medical directorship roles, overseeing clinical operations and ensuring excellence in patient care
- Participate in on-call rotations, working collaboratively with the Hospitalist service to ensure seamless patient care
- Board certification or board eligibility in Nephrology by the date of hire
- Eligibility to obtain a New York State medical license
