Premise Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join our team in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical care to patients in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize medical procedures to ensure optimal patient care
- Restore and stabilize heart rhythms in patients with cardiac emergencies
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Administer initial treatment and communicate with medical personnel to ensure seamless care
- Transport patients to treatment centers and assist in extricating trapped victims
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient care and treatment
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Emergency Medical Technician program with passing grades
- Current certification in health care provider ARC or AHA Basic Life Support
- At least three years of experience as an EMT in an emergency room, ambulance/EMS service, or occupational health clinic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and software applications
