Facility Information: The facility is recognized as a premier pediatric trauma center, equipped with advanced neonatal intensive care capabilities. It serves a diverse patient population, conducting numerous surgical procedures around the clock. The center features multiple operating rooms and outpatient facilities specializing in various medical fields.
Types of Imaging: The role primarily involves pediatric imaging, including neurological scans, head and spine imaging, as well as general extremity and body scans, with some cardiology procedures included.
Daily Imaging Volume: Expect to perform an average of 12-15 imaging procedures each day.
Team Structure: While there are typically other specialists on shift, there may be rare instances where you are the only technologist scheduled.
Equipment: The facility utilizes two Siemens MRI machines, including a 1.5T Sola and a 3T Skyra.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should possess IV Certification and have experience with Siemens imaging technology.
Shift Details: Day shifts with varied start times, requiring 36 hours of work per week.
Weekend Commitment: Every other Saturday is required.
On-Call Requirement: No on-call duty is mandated, although there is an option to volunteer for on-call shifts.
