Position Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled, organized, and innovative distiller with a degree in engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and experience in manufacturing and production leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of whiskey, bourbon, and rum production, including grain handling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, blending, and bottling.
  • Coordinate on-site analysis and off-site activities for both Column and Batch Distillation.
  • Manage raw material procurement and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Operate and maintain distillation equipment, including pumps, motors, and filtration systems.
  • Execute large-scale whiskey production processes, including fermentation and barrel management.
  • Conduct laboratory analysis and sensory evaluations of spirits.
  • Implement cleaning and sanitation protocols to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a distillery environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical capability to handle the demands of the role.
  • Valid driver's license and forklift certification.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in working hours. The role involves both indoor and outdoor tasks, adhering to safety protocols in a dynamic production environment.
