PAE Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Spokane, WA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee the preparation of deliverables and documents, including narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical distribution, lighting, and power systems design, as well as experience with Easy Power and AutoCAD/Revit.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation of deliverables and documents, including narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Apply electrical distribution, lighting, and power systems design principles
  • Effectively communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group
  • Provide engineering direction and guidance for the project team
  • Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through construction
  • Oversee electrical load calculations
  • Utilize knowledge of other disciplines and direct interdisciplinary coordination
  • Edit/write specification; provide input into standards
  • Apply knowledge of building codes and electrical industry standards
  • Perform engineering calculations and equipment selection
  • Provide opinions of probable construction costs
  • Perform site visits and issues reports
  • Implement the project quality management plan (QMP)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred
  • LEED accreditation preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' related work experience in the AEC industry/built environment
  • Advanced understanding of electrical engineering concepts
  • Thorough understanding of project phases and their associated deliverables
  • Ability to assemble and run a team
  • Strong delegation skills
  • Experience completing projects within a budget and schedule
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and advanced organizational skills
  • Knowledge and application of the NEC and relevant building and energy codes
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Thorough understanding of AutoCAD/Revit and Easy Power
What We Offer

PAE Consulting offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $80,000 - $106,700 annual, as well as opportunities for salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including performance bonus, employer-paid health insurance, 401k account contribution, professional development reimbursements, commuter benefit, cell phone stipend, life insurance, and disability benefits.
