Position Overview

SAIC is looking for a dedicated Security Analyst to deliver operational and security assistance across various programs and clients within the SAIC Civil & Commercial Space and Defense Space sectors. This role will act as the main point of contact for daily program security operations, addressing all aspects of program security, classification protocols, program integration, and additional responsibilities as required. Key tasks include aiding in the development of security strategies, evaluating relevant guidelines, and adhering to established security protocols encompassing Personnel Security, Information Security, Physical/Technical Security, Classification Management, and Program Security in accordance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting and finalizing security assessments and government audits.
  • Regularly engaging with databases such as SIMS, NISS, and DISS.
  • Managing personnel security clearances and verifying visitor credentials.
  • Implementing visitor control measures and certifications for site access.
  • Ensuring the appropriate handling and storage of classified information.
  • Coordinating document control as needed, including receipt and dispatch.
  • Preparing and delivering program briefings related to executed NDAs.
  • Reviewing documents to ensure correct classification markings.
  • Supporting meetings to maintain compliance with security protocols.
  • Facilitating security processing, including courier services and personnel inquiries.
  • Performing general administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Ensuring facility adherence to all security policies and directives.
  • Acting as a liaison with customer and subcontractor security teams on security matters.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with one year of relevant experience. An additional four years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and the capability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance post-hire.
  • Prior experience in Industrial Security is required.
  • Experience collaborating with DoD clients is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with NISS, DISS, and SIMS systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and complete assignments thoroughly.
  • Positive attitude with a capacity to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Strong interpersonal and briefing skills; able to communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders on significant issues requiring inter-organizational coordination.
  • Ability to make independent decisions with minimal supervision while representing the security division.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Capability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to articulate and present informed, risk-managed security recommendations daily.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support various locations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Possession or pursuit of FSO certifications is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in DoD security is preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge in supporting proposal efforts is a plus.

Compensation: Target salary range is $80,001 - $120,000, reflecting the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not mandate COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Compliance with customer site vaccination requirements is necessary when working at customer locations.
