Prosthetic and Orthotic Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' needs with physicians and recommend treatment options.
- Assess patient conditions and formulate prosthetic and/or orthotic device designs.
- Select materials and create custom devices for optimal fit and function.
- Fitting, adjustments, and quality control to ensure medical efficacy and patient satisfaction.
- Instruct patients on proper use of devices and provide follow-up care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC).
- A baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics, or the foreign equivalent, and current ABC Board-Eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
- A valid driver's license and driving record within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures standards.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 per year + bonus and benefits.
