Job Summary:

Bethesda Home of Aberdeen is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a part-time capacity. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct nursing care to our residents and assisting with the day-to-day nursing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Nursing Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Nursing Supervision: Supervise and direct the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Resident Associates and Resident Medication Associates.
  • Charting and Documentation: Accurately chart and document resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant information.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the highest level of care is maintained.

Requirements:

  • Education: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Experience: None required; on-the-job training provided.
  • Shift: Part-time, rotating shifts including every 4th weekend and holiday.
