Cardiovascular Technologist Job Description

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with high-level, complex research in our Cardiac Imaging Core Lab (CICL). The successful candidate will have experience in echocardiographic analysis and data quality assurance, and will be responsible for implementing and documenting technical QC/QA procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiographic analysis of heart size and function in a high-quality, scientific, and reproducible manner.
  • Implement and document technical QC/QA procedures, including the over-reading of measurements and the reproducibility of analysis.
  • Assist with the creation, testing, and validation of study-specific databases and analysis software.
  • Participate in lab-wide and/or project-specific meetings.
  • Provide other echocardiographic technical research support as per the CICL Directors.
Requirements
  • BS and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in Echocardiographic lab in a hospital or outpatient setup.
  • Experience in cardiac strain analysis preferred.
