We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at The Bungalows At Mayfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving meals that meet and exceed quality, quantity, and service schedule requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations. They will be responsible for managing food production, adhering to posted menus, and preparing food items using approved recipes.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining sanitary conditions, monitoring food temperatures, and adhering to local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals that meet quality, quantity, and service schedule requirements
- Manage food production, including menu planning and inventory control
- Maintain sanitary conditions, including cleaning work areas and adhering to food safety standards
- Monitor food temperatures and adhere to local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling
- Prepare special dietary needs and texture modified food as directed
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred
- One (1) year job-related experience, including food preparation and full-line menu items
- Maintains a current SERV Safe certificate or able to participate in food services sanitation training
