- Familiarize and communicate information about group fitness classes, personal training, and other wellness programs.
- Familiarize with gym equipment and lockers, and provide youth orientation as needed.
- Assist in YMCA special events and respond to member and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Successful experience in public relations, reception, or sales.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to listen and discern members' and guests' wants, needs, and interests.
- Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
- Current First Aid certification and CPR (within 30 days of employment or first available training).
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass an extensive background check.
- Bilingual preferred.
