Key Responsibilities
  • Build a member-focused culture and model relationship-building skills in all interactions.

  • Familiarize with gym equipment and lockers, and provide youth orientation as needed.
  • Assist in YMCA special events and respond to member and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Successful experience in public relations, reception, or sales.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to listen and discern members' and guests' wants, needs, and interests.
  • Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
  • Current First Aid certification and CPR (within 30 days of employment or first available training).
  • Reliable transportation and ability to pass an extensive background check.
  • Bilingual preferred.
