DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic evaluations, including stress echo, dobutamine, and 2-D echo with Doppler and color flow.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct clinical evaluations on patients and analyze and interpret test results to determine if additional tests are required for diagnostic accuracy.
- Perform non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic evaluations for anatomical and functional assessments.
- Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular clinical analysis, including obtaining patient history, physical examination, and auscultation.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative real-time 2-D echocardiograms with Doppler and color flow, stress echos, dobutamine, and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Select and perform appropriate procedures and integrate clinical findings and testing results into an overall diagnostic impression.
- Associates degree in cardiovascular or applied sciences, or equivalent.
- Registered or registry-eligible as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
