Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients within a clinical setting.
  • Compound and dispense medications accurately, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for other healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, pharmacy students, and residents.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and patients to discuss medication options, potential interactions, and patient-specific needs.
  • Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential risks, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians, overseeing their daily tasks and ensuring adherence to professional standards.
  • Maintain meticulous inventory records for controlled substances and other medications, complying with all legal requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
  • 3 years of relevant experience as a pharmacist in a clinical setting.
  • Current Pharmacist license (RPH) in good standing.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical care principles, medication therapies, and drug interactions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
