The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Anesthesia department plays a crucial role in supporting the Anesthesia team during surgical procedures. This position involves the preparation and organization of surgical cases, as well as the upkeep and inventory management of anesthesia equipment and supplies between procedures.
Qualifications:
Education / Certification / Licensure Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active LPN license in the State of New York.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required at the time of hire or within two weeks thereafter.
Preferred:
Certification from the Association of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians is preferred.
Experience Required:
- At least one year of prior LPN experience in a direct patient care environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in critical care or anesthesia settings is preferred.
Compensation:
The hourly rate is competitive, starting at $33.33, commensurate with verified education and experience.
