About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Designer to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a Senior Structural Designer, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of assigned projects, including multi-discipline coordination and staff management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design process for projects of all sizes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Make major design recommendations and decisions, collaborating with senior staff as needed.
  • Plan and coordinate design work, calculating costs and schedules to assign tasks to junior staff.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and technology teams.
  • Maintain project design notebooks and provide documentation for permanent project files.
  • Act as an advisor and review correspondence prepared by junior team members.
  • Evaluate project staffing requirements and analyze problems, writing reports as needed.
  • Attend project meetings and meet with clients to prepare proposals and presentations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • 11 years of qualifying experience; 12 preferred.
