Job Title: Pool Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Iowa Sports Management Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pool Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our aquatic facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our pools, staff, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pool Operations: Manage and coordinate all aspects of pool operations, including facility maintenance, staff supervision, and programming and activities scheduling.
  • Staff Management: Hire, schedule, and supervise all staff, including lifeguards, maintenance personnel, and customer service representatives.
  • Communication: Respond to member communications, communicate with committees, and prepare and deliver daily, monthly, and other periodic reports as required.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure the pool and surrounding facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to members and guests, responding to concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience in pool operations or a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Current lifeguard certification and ability to obtain any necessary certifications or licenses.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong problem-solving, resolution-oriented, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
