Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the clinical nutrition program within a healthcare facility Lead a team of both novice and seasoned dietitians; Advocate for the expansion and promotion of Clinical Nutrition services throughout the organization; Collaborate on the implementation and management of Sodexo's meal service program and menu management system; Cultivate a learning environment that encourages career advancement and professional growth; Actively build and maintain collaborative relationships with essential stakeholders to propel departmental initiatives; Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects; and/or Provide nutritional care across various patient units as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as mandated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as mandated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will achieve registration within 120 days of hire. In certain states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credentials are required at the time of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities, state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.

Basic Management Experience: 6 years of experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework.
Basic Functional Experience: 5 years as an experienced specialized practitioner capable of working independently and providing professional supervision to specialists.
