Position SummaryEcology Auto Parts, Inc. is a leading automotive recycling firm dedicated to sustainable practices within the automotive sector. We specialize in the responsible management and disposal of automotive components while adhering to environmental standards. We are currently in search of a qualified End Dump Truck Driver with a HAZMAT endorsement. In this role, you will be essential in the transportation of automotive materials and recyclable goods.
Key Responsibilities- Operate an end dump truck safely and efficiently, complying with all traffic laws.
- Transport automotive materials and recyclables between facilities.
- Load and unload materials securely, following safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck, performing routine inspections.
- Follow all safety regulations and handle hazardous materials properly.
- Complete necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
- Communicate with the logistics team to ensure timely operations.
- Exhibit professionalism in interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Commit to safety and environmental stewardship in all job functions.
- Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial driving, especially with hazardous materials.
- Clean driving record with no significant violations in the last five years.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations for hazardous materials transportation.
- Ability to operate an end dump truck effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Capability to work independently and adhere to assigned routes.
- Physical ability to lift and handle heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Attention to detail in completing paperwork accurately.
- Regularly required to sit, use hands for operation, and communicate.
- Frequent lifting/moving of up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision.
- Work may involve exposure to outdoor conditions.
The compensation for the End Dump HAZMAT Driver position ranges from $67,600.00 to $88,400.00 annually, depending on experience. A comprehensive benefits package is included, featuring medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with employer matching, generous paid time off, and life insurance coverage.
ScheduleMonday to Friday, with alternating Saturdays.
