Job Overview

Point 2 Point INC. is seeking motivated and dependable delivery drivers to join our team at the FedEx terminal in Staunton, VA. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers, following assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrive at the terminal in a timely manner and operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers.
  • Safely and efficiently load cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery, if necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
  • Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, such as vans and box trucks.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, such as loading and unloading cargo.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Work Schedule

Full-time delivery drivers will work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the possibility of working weekends as needed. Part-time delivery drivers will work a variable schedule, including days and weekends.

Relocation

Relocation to Staunton, VA 24401 is required before starting work.
