We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at Ascension Saint Agnes in Baltimore, Maryland.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, coordinating discharge planning with case management as needed.
- Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
- Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
- Provide accurate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialties, including on-call schedules.

Requirements- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) is preferred.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
