Veterinarian Specialist

The Petco Total Care Veterinary Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a key member of our hospital, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing routine and complex surgical procedures, and collaborating with our experienced medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

As a Veterinarian at Petco Total Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and cases, and to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of areas. • Provide high-quality patient care, including physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning
• Perform routine and complex surgical procedures, including spays/neuters, mass removals, and dentals
• Collaborate with our medical team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited program
• Active licensure as a veterinarian in the state where the hospital is located
• Current DEA license and Controlled Substance License (if applicable)
• USDA Category I Accreditation or completion within two months of hire date
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and customer service

• Competitive salary: $86,580.00 - $184,080.00 per year
