We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Camden Clark Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting optimum care of patients, families, and significant others within your area of expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Plan for Patient Care and facilitate the delivery of nursing care via the Collaborative Practice Model.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Area's of Service Line and assure the provision of area of specialty nursing care in accordance with specialty, regulatory, and CCMC practice standards.
- Assist with the development of area/program strategic plans reflective of corporate goals to facilitate effective progress.
- In conjunction with Service Line Department Head, identify department/program Performance Management Plan processes with staff participation to identify patient care issues/problems and to develop action plans to resolve problems, improve outcomes, and exceed customer expectations.
- In conjunction with Service Line Department Head, train staff to provide competent care through development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of department/program competencies based orientation, education, and evaluation programs.
- Graduate of Nursing Program, BSN/BA required.
- Master's of Science in Nursing and/or related field or expected date for completion of program of study.
- Current West Virginia State license as a registered nurse required.
- Progressive clinical and/or managerial experience in area of specialty hired.

- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and coordinate programs with a variety of health care personnel, and outside individuals or organizations.
- Ability to organize and prioritize time and tasks to achieve a well-coordinated work effort and to effectively meet work schedules, including an ability to integrate multiple factors which may have an impact on patient care, including variance in human resources.
