Senior General Liability Defense Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Senior General Liability Defense Attorney to lead our team in providing exceptional legal services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, personal injury, and general liability defense.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and depositions, utilizing strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, understanding their needs and concerns.
  • Manage and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution, leveraging expertise in general liability defense.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to general liability defense, applying knowledge to inform decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, demonstrating a strong foundation in law.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • At least 7 years of experience in general litigation and insurance defense, showcasing expertise and depth of knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and regulations, applying understanding to complex cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying ideas and information.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of attorneys and paralegals, fostering growth and success.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of cases, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Experience with general liability defense, personal injury, and insurance defense, leveraging expertise to drive results.
