We are seeking a skilled Concrete Professional to join our construction team at Zero Impact Builders. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for pouring, spreading, and smoothing concrete mixtures to meet specific requirements. Your expertise will also be utilized in designing and setting up forms, adding decorative elements, and applying waterproofing solutions to ensure the durability of our structures.
Key Responsibilities- Mixing and applying concrete to meet project specifications
- Designing and constructing forms to ensure accurate and efficient concrete placement
- Molding expansion joints and edges to prevent damage
- Adding decorative elements to enhance the appearance of our structures
- Applying waterproofing solutions to protect our concrete structures
- Estimating material requirements and project timelines
- Conducting repairs and restoration of concrete structures as needed
- Maintaining a safe and organized worksite
- Coordinating with other team members to ensure project completion
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in the construction industry as a concrete laborer, concrete finisher, or similar role
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Excellent physical dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation within 70 miles of the area
