Responsibilities:


The Food Server I plays a crucial role in embodying the mission, vision, and values of Cavalier Workforce, Inc. by demonstrating professionalism in communication, appearance, and conduct.

Engages in the continuous quality improvement (CQI) process by completing necessary Quality Control documentation and preventive maintenance logs. Maintains a thorough understanding of departmental standard operating procedures. This position may involve travel between various client locations and its affiliates. Food Server I (FSI)

The primary duties will involve working in the dish room or, to a lesser extent, in retail, production, or catering settings, performing tasks such as general clean-up, dishwashing, trayline operations, transporting food to service areas, and managing waste disposal.

Must adhere to instructions to uphold high standards of service and quality. Prevents waste by following established protocols for chemical usage and promptly notifying supervisors of any observed misuse.

Qualifications:

Required:
Proficiency in speaking, reading, and following verbal instructions in English. Ability to collaborate effectively with others and perform a variety of tasks under supervision.

Preferred:
Previous experience in customer service and/or food service. Capability to perform basic calculations manually or with a calculator. Familiarity with food production and service. Ability to delegate tasks and maintain efficient operational standards.

Exhibits strong communication skills, interpersonal abilities, organizational skills, knowledge of proper body mechanics, safety protocols, and infection control measures, along with the ability to follow instructions.
