Overview

Ashton Thomas Private Wealth is a rapidly growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) seeking a skilled Wealth Paraplanner to join our team. Our firm specializes in providing sophisticated investment management and wealth planning solutions to high-net worth individuals, families, business owners, and corporate executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of wealth planning initiatives in partnership with senior Wealth Advisors and their clients and prospects.
  • Liaise with our financial planning, operations, marketing, tax, and investment management teams to successfully deliver daily initiatives and solutions.
  • Prepare and review meeting materials for client meetings, including understanding and interpreting various planning documents.
  • Resolve basic to intermediate wealth, financial, and tax planning questions, including researching answers and connecting with other department professionals.
  • Input planning data in planning software and client relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Maintain capital market assumptions and review process in conjunction with the investment management team.
Requirements
  • 5 to 10+ years of financial planning or investment management experience.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP) designation strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Math.
  • Excellent wealth planning skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Ability to communicate complexity in a simplified manner while maintaining the integrity of the underlying wealth planning principles.
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills combined with the ability to effectively navigate competing priorities.
  • Strong computer skills, financial planning software experience, and knowledge of Microsoft 365 products.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate the highest level of client service, ethics, and integrity.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-starter with a high level of urgency and personal accountability.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Broker/Dealer experience and insurance knowledge an asset.
  • Series Licenses Preferred (Series 7, Series 63, Series 65).

Work Environment

Monday to Friday schedule.

Relocation to Tucson, AZ required before starting work.
