As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will perform essential laboratory tests across various specialty departments, including Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology. Your work will provide critical data for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will include:
- Conducting complex analyses of various tests and documenting results.
- Receiving specimens and managing supplies within the department.
- Troubleshooting instrument issues and documenting corrective actions.
- Ensuring quality control measures are adhered to and logged appropriately.
- Training new employees and students in laboratory procedures.
- Participating in phlebotomy and accession responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
- MT registry or eligibility, with successful completion within six months of hire.
- ASCP certification or equivalent is preferred.
