Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed Wastewater Treatment Specialist to oversee the operations of wastewater management. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring that all treatment processes adhere to environmental standards.

  • Perform routine wastewater assessments and maintain comprehensive records of both physical and chemical metrics
  • Implement necessary modifications based on assessment results and accurately document all alterations
  • Oversee the application of chemicals throughout the wastewater treatment procedures
  • Calibrate and maintain instruments to guarantee precise measurements
  • Conduct regular upkeep on wastewater treatment machinery
  • Manage the packaging and disposal of hazardous materials
  • Gather, label, and record recyclable items for appropriate disposal
  • Examine and maintain facility equipment, making adjustments as required
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues including the Environmental Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator, and Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
  • Wastewater Operations: Supervision of wastewater treatment activities
  • Hazardous Waste Management: Safe handling and disposal of hazardous substances
  • Recyclable Material Handling: Ensure adherence to regulations regarding recyclable materials
  • Facility Maintenance: Routine inspection and servicing of equipment
  • Other Duties: Openness to undertake additional responsibilities as assigned
Evaluation Criteria:

Your performance will be evaluated based on laboratory results, characteristics of wastewater, and your capability to effectively manage tasks and meet deadlines.
