Medical Support Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Support Associate to join our team at Sovah Health - Danville. Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, technical support, and input in planning care through communication with the RN and other patient care team members.
- Maintain the standard of care for patients in assigned unit/area, performing basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
- Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High school diploma or equivalent, be enrolled in a professional school of nursing program, and completed your first semester (Fundamentals of Nursing including clinicals). You should also possess critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association certification is required.
